Frustrating Upgrade
I’m trying to add a shoutbox to my tumblr blog - and shoutbox.com doesn’t even have my registration.  I filled out their forms, gosh, and no response!!  Does this take time, real time?  Doesn’t everything happen in nanoseconds on the web?

Love trusts God always.
St. Paul says it so well -   If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. If I give...

Queen Elizabeth's 2007 Christmas Address →
Youtube has disabled a direct connect to this video - my guess is to stop hackers from spinning improper editings of this speech. Smart move, Youtube!  This year’s address includes footage from the 1957 address.

Steep Learning Curve
There’s so much to learn about Tumblr - and so little free time.  Sort of learn as you go.  Tonight I’m making a left-over fried rice with broccoli slaw and ham.  Not too difficult and not too exciting.  A Git ‘er done dinner.  I love to look up recipes on the web and I’ve been through several options with the available ingredients, but finally decided to go with a TNT...

The excavation has started on our lot in Front Royal VA.  The drainfield has been cleared, and there’s a path (soon for the pipes) from the homesite to the drainfield.  We can now walk across the property in a few minutes.

Psalm 42 - one of my favorites
12 For the leader. A maskil of the Korahites. 2  As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.  3  3 My being thirsts for God, the living God. When can I go and see the face of God? 4  My tears have been my food day and night, as they ask daily,”Where is your God?” 5  Those times I recall as I pour out my soul, When I went in...

First Day Back
This was my first day back at the office after a week of Thanksgiving vacation.  Henry and I drove to Montgomery, AL to have Thanksgiving with his mom and other family members.  The visit was memorable, and the drive from D.C. and back was horrendous.  17 hours down, and 16 hours back.  Two entire days negotiating traffic on I-85.  Details to follow.
